For a better backhand drive
attack like a fencer

The fencer withdraws his sword from its protective sheath, which is attached to his left hip, and then moves the sword forward into an attacking position. Similarly, on the backhand drive, take the racquet head forward from the hip opposite your dominant hand toward the target area. Thus, the racquet will follow a straight path, not a circular one.
